• Trinidad woman found deceased after nearly year-long disappearance (worldjournalnewspaper.com) — Family and friends in Ignacio are preparing to receive the remains of Christina Sanchez, whose body was recently identified after she disappeared from Trinidad nearly a year ago. Her mother, longtime Ignacio resident and retired teacher Agnes Sanchez, led persistent search efforts across Las Animas County. Services for Christina are expected to be held in Ignacio sometime in May.
