Neighbors are also urged to avoid watering between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., prevent runoff onto pavement, and skip washing driveways so the community can help avoid stricter water restrictions later. 
• Boulder Valley hosts declining enrollment community engagement sessions (coloradohometownweekly.com) — Boulder Valley School District is weighing school consolidations and closures as it confronts a steep enrollment decline, but notes enrollment remains stable in Lafayette schools. A Lafayette parent from Ryan Elementary joined about 100 families in recent engagement sessions, pushing to protect special education services as district leaders craft a plan for board consideration later this year.
