2. Two teens found dead in suspected murder-suicide in Lakewood (thecherrycreeknews.com) — Lakewood police are investigating the deaths of two teenagers found Monday in a Benton Street home as a suspected murder-suicide, while stressing there's no ongoing threat to the public. 4. Retrofitting Suburbia: Villa Italia to Belmar (southernrockiesnatureblog.com) — Lakewood's transformation of the old Villa Italia mall into the Belmar district is highlighted as a national example of turning aging suburban shopping centers into more urban-style downtowns.
