• Former Budlong Chicken owner goes to prison for spending COVID relief money on sprawling Colorado home, exotic trips (cwbchicago.com) — A Littleton resident who once owned Budlong Hot Chicken has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison for fraudulently obtaining more than $2.3 million in COVID relief funds. Prosecutors say he used the money for a luxury Evergreen home, vehicles, travel, and everyday expenses instead of supporting his restaurants and employees, and also failed to remit hundreds of thousands in employee payroll taxes.
