• Colorado man seriously injured after pickup hydroplanes over I-70 overpass near Hays (kwch.com) — A 66-year-old man from Littleton was seriously injured when his pickup hydroplaned on a rainy stretch of I-70 near Hays, Kansas, vaulted over an overpass guardrail, and landed on the road below. Kansas Highway Patrol investigators say the truck's trailer detached and overturned during the crash, and the driver was taken to Hays Medical Center for treatment.
