• SCHEELS is finally coming to the Denver-area, complete with a 60-foot Ferris wheel inside the store (kygo.com) — Littleton has officially landed a massive 300,000-square-foot SCHEELS flagship at the new Mineral Place development, complete with a 60-foot indoor Ferris wheel and hundreds of jobs. City council approved a 30-year tax incentive deal, expecting tens of millions in sales tax revenue while sharing the site with a new Costco along the C-470 corridor.

• Three of Colorado's biggest corn mazes open this week (kygo.com) — Littleton families can start fall early as the Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms opens this Friday, offering a seven-acre maze, mini-maze, barrel train rides and food vendors. Alongside big mazes in LaSalle and Thornton, this Littleton attraction runs through Nov. 1, giving locals plenty of chances to get lost in some nearby cornfield fun.
