• Golden construction firm says its president spent stolen millions on silver (businessden.com subscription) — A former construction executive is accused in a lawsuit of using company money to buy a $1.1 million house in the southwest Colorado town of Mancos, along with silver and other big-ticket items. The Golden-based firm claims millions were diverted between 2021 and 2024 and is asking a Jefferson County judge to force the return of the assets, including the Mancos property.
