• Colorado boasts four spots on ‘Trail Towns' list, a new celebration of mountain biking (gazette.com) — New Castle has been named one of just four Colorado “Trail Towns” by the International Mountain Bicycling Association, recognizing its fast-growing network of desert trails right outside town. Local leaders say the designation validates years of volunteer work, boosts quality of life, and could help attract more trail funding and visitor spending while keeping everyday rides close to home.
