• ‘Go time': RWAPA calls for immediate water conservation (aspentimes.com) — Snowmass Village residents are being urged to immediately cut back outdoor watering as extreme drought and record-low snowpack strain local supplies needed for firefighting and essential uses. RWAPA and the Snowmass Water and Sanitation District stress watering less often but more deeply, and sticking to existing time-of-day restrictions, to ensure there’s enough water for homes and emergency response through this exceptionally dry season.
