Sold locally between March 30 and April 6, these mixed heart-shaped cookies could pose serious risks for anyone with nut allergies, prompting a nationwide recall.
   

• Cannabis overhaul introduced in Colorado Senate (gazette.com) — A statewide marijuana safety and tax overhaul at the Colorado Capitol is being led in part by Sen. Kyle Mullica of Thornton. The proposal would tighten product testing, shift oversight to the health department, and change how cannabis is taxed, potentially affecting prices and safety for Thornton consumers if voters approve it this fall.
