Mail Thieves Swipe $20K Worth Of Checks In CT, Police Say
Police are investigating the incident, which occurred over the weekend.
PLYMOUTH, CT — Police are investigating following thefts from mailboxes in Plymouth with losses over $20,000.
The incident was at Industrial Park off of Preston Road on Saturday at 12:51 a.m.
Two people in a small sedan, possibly red, went through mailboxes and stole over $20,000 in checks made out to various businesses.

These checks will mostly likely be washed and cashed, police said.
