Motorcycle Operator, Passenger Seriously Injured In Brooklyn Crash: Police
The accident happened on Sunday afternoon, according to state police.
BROOKLYN, CT — Two people were seriously injured Sunday afternoon when their motorcycle collided with a car on Route 6, and one of the victim’s injuries are considered to be life-threatening, according to state police.
The accident happened around 2:14 p.m.
State police said a 2022 Hyundai Ioniq SE was traveling westbound on Providence Road, or Route 6. A 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling behind it in the same direction struck the rear of the Hyundai, according to police.

The operator of the Harley Davidson, a 36-year-old Brooklyn man, and the passenger, a 35-year-old Webster, Mass. woman, were both taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
State police described the motorcycle operator’s injuries as “serious,” and the passenger’s injuries as “life-threatening.”

The driver of the Hyundai, a 30-year-old Canterbury man, was not injured.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
