• CT Youth Summer Employment Program Launches (newhavenindependent.org) — Ansonia teens and young adults can now apply for paid summer jobs through the Connecticut Youth Summer Employment Program, backed by State Rep. Kara Rochelle and Mayor Frank Tyszka. Open to residents ages 14 to 24 in Ansonia and Derby, the program offers up to 20 hours a week at minimum wage with hands-on experience at local businesses, nonprofits, and municipal offices.
