BERLIN, CT — The Town of Berlin is seeking vendors for the return of “Yankee Peddler Day,” a community event scheduled for May 30 as part of the nationwide America 250 celebrations.

The event is planned for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park on Farmington Avenue and will take place rain or shine, according to organizers.

Organizers said the revival of “Yankee Peddler Day” is intended to highlight Berlin’s historical roots, particularly the legacy of early tinware peddlers.
