• 25 years later, Connecticut United Ride keeps 9/11 remembrance rolling (fox61.com) — Bethel played a visible role in this year's CT United Ride, with Bethel Fire, EMS and Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company hoisting a massive American flag as thousands of riders passed through town. The 25th annual 9/11 tribute winds through 11 communities, honoring victims and first responders while drawing local residents out to line the route in remembrance.
