The report highlights that most calls were medical or rescue related, underscores the benefits of staffing the Indian Neck station, and showcases broad community outreach and fire prevention work across town.
   

• Branford pediatrician charged with sexual assault could get charge erased (theday.com) — A Branford pediatrician has been admitted to an 18‑month rehabilitation program that could lead to his sexual assault charge being erased if he completes it successfully. The doctor, formerly with Branford Pediatrics & Adolescents, was arrested in 2023 and his medical license is currently suspended. A related civil lawsuit by the alleged victim against him and the practice is scheduled for trial soon.
