With Shoreline Greenway Trail, Stroll the Stony Creek Trolley Trail Saturday

During the walk, plans for protecting, and future improvements, of the historic iron bridge will be discussed: Shoreline Greenway Trail.

BRANFORD, CT — Shoreline Greenway Trail invites folks to take a stroll on the Stony Creek Trolley Trail Walk this Saturday.

"Join us for a beautiful walk on the Stony Creek Trolley Trail section of the Shoreline Greenway Trail," the group posted to Facebook. "We’ll be discussing the plans for protecting the historic iron bridge on the trail and for making other improvements."

The walk will include the Shoreline Greenway trail extension on the Tilcon end of the trail.

"We'll talk about future options for linking this section to the Young's Pond Park section of the Shoreline Greenway Trail," it's noted.

To join the walk, meet at the West Point Field parking lot in Stony Creek, via Route 146, Leetes Island Road, and Thimble Island Road at 10 a.m. Saturday.
