Person Rescued From 3rd Floor Of Building In 2-Alarm Fire In Bridgeport: FD

The Sunday fire displaced 10 residents, according to authorities.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A person had to be rescued by ground ladder from a third-floor porch in a two-alarm fire Sunday on Lincoln Avenue in Bridgeport, according to fire officials.

No injuries were reported in the 10 p.m. fire, but the rescued person was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, officials said.

Ten people — eight adults and two children — have been displaced by the blaze, and the American Red Cross is assisting them.
