Come share the dream of a Mother Daughter Art Exhibition

My daughter Emily has become my inspiration. At first, I hoped it may have been the other way around, with our connection with the beauty of paint and pencil. Just watching her drive and determination to make a living using all her creative gifts. I saw her struggling with many of the same anxieties that froze me in my place, but she seemed to break through and crushed those fears.

After years of paying her bills as a Freelancer and one of the founding partners of Kismet Co. Collinsville, Emily now works for Comcast as a Senior Graphic Artist.

I have been working as a Custom Framing Manager at Micheals for many years. I have seen so many beautiful, amazing, creative pieces of Art come through my shop. I would often wonder if anyone would love one of my pieces enough to get it framed.

In our free time, our favorite thing to do is our Side hustle; painting and drawing. We get our inspiration from the people and places around us.

Among many mediums Emily also creates small Gouche paintings on wood. She is edgy, graphic and bold. Dotty creates large illustrative Oil paintings of organic fantasy with bright colors on canvas.

This is our first Gallery show together, and Dotty's first show ever. So, this Gallery opening is a long-awaited dream. We are out of hiding and ready to show the Magic we create From Our Hands.
