• Popular Clinton Donut Shop Announces Plans To Reopen In New Location After Fire (patch.com) — Beach Donut Shop, long a staple for Clinton shoreline families, is preparing to reopen in nearby Westbrook after a devastating May 30 fire heavily damaged its East Main Street location. Clinton-area customers rallied with donations and messages of support, helping the 75-year-old business regroup while it paused production and planned its next chapter.
   

• Clinton PD roll out body cameras that translate foreign languages in real time (nbcconnecticut.com) — Clinton police officers are now using new Axon body cameras that can translate up to 50 languages in real time, speeding communication during calls, especially in Spanish and Portuguese. The department says the technology, along with automated license plate readers, has already helped recover stolen items, support domestic violence victims, and solve cases ranging from missing persons to multi-state retail crime.
