Man Gets 4 Years Probation In Danbury Prostitution Case: Report
The 36-year-old was accused of helping organize and profit from a woman's prostitution activities, according to a report.
DANBURY, CT — The second of two men accused of organizing and profiting from a woman's prostitution activities in Danbury has been sentenced after changing his pleas to guilty, according to a report.
Johnathon Damasceno, 36, was sentenced Tuesday to 42 months in prison, execution suspended, followed by four years of probation with special conditions, the News-Times reported. He pleaded guilty to third-degree promotion of prostitution and conspiracy to commit third-degree promotion of prostitution after previously pleading not guilty.
Damasceno and co-defendant Luis Rivera were arrested in 2025 following a Danbury police investigation that began after a woman reported the men controlled and profited from her prostitution activities in 2021, according to the News-Times.
