Museum of Darien’s Annual Spring Fundraiser: War Comes to Middlesex – Rebels and Redcoats

The Museum of Darien invites you to journey back to the Revolutionary War era at its Annual Spring Fundraiser, War Comes to Middlesex: Rebels and Redcoats, on Saturday, May 16, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. This lively and immersive event promises an unforgettable evening filled with history, community, and celebration.

Guests will be transported to the 18th century as the Museum transforms into a bustling hub of Revolutionary War activity. The evening will feature live music, delectable tavern bites courtesy of Carolyn Eddie’s Absolutely Fabulous Events, and libations provided by Captain Zig and Town Cellar. The festive Colonial Tavern atmosphere will set the stage for a night of fun and historical intrigue.

From colonial-inspired games to a Silent Auction and themed entertainment, attendees can indulge in a wide range of activities that bring the tensions and excitement of the Revolutionary era to life. Whether you pledge loyalty to the Patriots or the Crown, this fundraiser offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and spirit of 18th-century life.
