Hazardous Waste Day Upcoming In Darien: Details

DARIEN, CT — The Town of Darien is scheduled to hold its final Household Hazardous Waste Day on June 6 at the Noroton Heights Train Station.

The event will allow residents to dispose of household hazardous waste items that are not accepted at the town dump.

According to the town, the collection is for household waste only, and commercial waste will not be accepted. Officials also encouraged residents to consider partnering with neighbors because the town incurs a disposal cost for each vehicle participating in the event.
