• PHOTOS: Jet skier rescued from Naugatuck River (wtnh.com) — A man riding a jet ski on the Naugatuck River in Derby was rescued Wednesday night near Main Street after getting into distress in the cold water. Derby firefighters and Storm Ambulance & Rescue used a rope system and cold-water gear to pull him to safety, and he was taken to Yale New Haven Trauma Center for treatment.
