Durham voters will consider $12,720 for fire hose and elect members to several town boards at the Oct. 5 Annual Town Meeting.

DURHAM, CT — Durham voters will decide whether to transfer up to $12,720 for new fire hose and elect members to several town boards and committees during the Annual Town Meeting on Monday, Oct. 5.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Durham Community Center, 144 Pickett Lane. Eligible Durham voters may participate in the meeting.

Voters will consider transferring no more than $12,720 from the Fire Department Equipment Reserve to the Fire Department Equipment capital improvement account for the purchase of fire hose, provided procurement requirements are met. The Board of Finance recommended the transfer at its Sept. 8 meeting, according to the town meeting call.
