Durham Tax Collector's Office Announces Two November Closures
The office will close for Veterans Day and professional education, with regular weekday hours listed as 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Durham’s Tax Collector’s Office will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11, and Thursday, Nov. 12, under its modified fall 2026 schedule, according to the Town of Durham. The notice lists two exceptions to the office’s regular Monday-through-Friday hours.
The office will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day. It will also be closed Thursday, Nov. 12, for professional education, according to the town’s announcement.
Regular hours listed in the fall schedule are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The schedule appears in a notice dated Monday, Oct. 26, and signed by Martin French, Durham’s tax collector.
