• 1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured In Motorcycle, Dump Truck Crash In East Hampton: PD (patch.com) — A serious crash between a motorcycle and a dump truck in East Hampton killed one rider and left another badly injured near Gulf Road and Colchester Avenue Thursday afternoon. Local police, fire, and ambulance crews responded along with Life Star helicopters. Anyone who saw the collision is urged to contact East Hampton police as they continue investigating.
   

• Alexander Pearl Gets First SK Modified Victory Of 2026 At Stafford Speedway (racedayct.com) — Stafford Speedway's Friday night racing saw Alexander Pearl grab his first SK Modified win of 2026, with East Hampton's Anthony Flannery finishing a strong second in the feature. The packed card also produced victories for Josh Wood, Nick Anglace, Jeremy Lavoie, and Jason Raymond across other divisions, giving local race fans plenty to talk about.
