Somers Veterans Coffeehouse Welcomes Capt. John M. Chan, USAF (Ret.)

The Somers Department of Veterans Affairs invites veterans, service members, families, and community supporters to attend the upcoming Somers Veterans Coffeehouse featuring Capt. John M. Chan, USAF (Ret.), Director of Heroes on Wheels and member of the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame, Class of 2023.

Capt. Chan will present valuable information on programs and benefits available to Connecticut veterans, including the Veterans Real Estate Tax Exemption, Free Veterans Bus Pass, and the Heroes on Wheels Program. The presentation will also include a video on how our Flag was created and evolved through history, offering a meaningful reflection on patriotism and service.
