Careless "Road Safety" Rob Drives Into a Work Zone And Then a Hole

The jokes write themselves: a state senate candidate drives into a work zone, then into a hole.

Rob Blanchard (Rob for CT) who voted in favor of speed cameras in Fairfield CT to “increase safety of our roadways and those who travel on them,” failed to comply with traffic instructions from a Newtown Police Officer.

He then drove into a work zone, where construction was being done, and subsequently into a hole they were there to fix.We're glad no one was hurt. Safety on our roads comes down to paying attention and listening to the officer speaking to you, something no camera can do for a driver.

We can't have officials who live by "rules for thee, not me."
