2. 4-Unit Multifamily Housing Development Sells For Millions In Fairfield (patch.com) — A multifamily property at 100 Castle Ave. in Fairfield just sold for $2.2 million, underscoring strong demand for local rentals near downtown and Metro-North. The 6,824-square-foot, four-unit building, with nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms, last sold in 2022 for $1.65 million, reflecting rising property values in town.

Bridgeport man faces several charges after Fairfield traffic stop (news12.com) — Fairfield police say a traffic stop on Post Road near Grasmere Avenue led to the arrest of a Bridgeport man accused of driving without a license and using a stolen registration plate. Officers report finding a large kitchen knife and a realistic facsimile shotgun in the vehicle, and the driver now faces multiple charges plus separate warrant cases in New London.

4. The MOMbies® are coming! (wshu.org) — MOMbies®, a group of local moms who dance in zombie costumes to raise money for breast cancer research, will perform on Halloween at Fairfield Town Hall. Now in their 11th year, the volunteers have raised about $1.3 million for Memorial Sloan Kettering and are urging Fairfield-area residents to attend, donate, follow their social media, or partner through local businesses.
