Glastonbury Police Make Arrest In Vehicle Burglary Spree
The warrant stemmed from an investigation into a series of vehicle burglaries and a vehicle theft reported in Glastonbury, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 22-year-old New Britain man accused of being responsible for dozens of vehicle thefts and burglaries across Connecticut and Massachusetts was arrested in connection with a Glastonbury investigation, police said.
Marquees Rodriguez was arrested Sept. 23 on an active Glastonbury Police Department arrest warrant while at Superior Court in Manchester, according to police. The arrest was carried out through a writ of habeas corpus.
The warrant stemmed from an investigation into a series of vehicle burglaries and a vehicle theft reported in Glastonbury on Jan. 23 and Feb. 9, police said.

Investigators with the Greater Hartford Regional Auto Theft Task Force and Glastonbury police determined that Rodriguez was responsible for dozens of vehicle thefts and burglaries across Connecticut and Massachusetts between December 2025 and March 2026, according to police.
Police said Rodriguez was a parole absconder during the alleged crime spree.

Rodriguez has been in Connecticut Department of Correction custody since his arrest by the Greater Hartford Regional Auto Theft Task Force in March, police said.
The charges include:
- Five counts of third-degree burglary
- Eight counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary
- Four counts of attempted third-degree burglary
- Three counts of sixth-degree larceny
- One count of first-degree motor vehicle theft
- One count of conspiracy to commit first-degree motor vehicle theft
The case carries a $150,000 cash or surety bond.
