The 1980s contemporary now features new systems, roof, kitchen, floors and patio, and the investor-realtor says strong early interest suggests buyers are willing to look past the property's difficult history. 
• High school football Week 2 roundup: Offense carries Ridgefield, Naugatuck to victories (wtnh.com) — Glastonbury High's football team fell just short Friday, losing 21-20 at Cheshire after the Rams blocked both a late extra point and a field goal attempt. The statewide Week 2 roundup also highlights big offensive performances from Ridgefield, Naugatuck, Southington and others, giving Glastonbury fans a sense of how other top programs are shaping up early in the season.
