• Middletown-based CT Convention & Sports Bureau (CTMEETINGS) Adds Director of Sports Sales/Marketing Officer (patch.com) — A Glastonbury resident, Chris Grosse, has been named Director of Sports Sales and Chief Marketing Officer for the Middletown-based Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau, which works to attract sports events statewide. His new role focuses on bringing more tournaments and meetings to Connecticut venues, boosting hotel stays, restaurant business, and tax revenue. Grosse brings extensive college athletics marketing experience from UConn, Penn State, Georgetown, and other universities.
