The Simsbury Land Trust is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Since our founding in 1976, our mission has been to protect the scenic vistas, geological features, and farmland that define Simsbury’s character, while supporting healthy habitats for local wildlife and plants.
In celebration of this milestone, on Arbor Day, April 24, we are dedicating a White Oak, the state tree to the Town of Simsbury as a gesture of gratitude for the community’s support of our conservation efforts over the past five decades.
Following the dedication, we invite you to join us for a hike and scavenger hunt in Belden Forest led by Susan Masino.
Please join us as we celebrate 50 years of conservation and community partnership.
