EAST GRANBY, CT — East Granby residents have a new place to grow vegetables, flowers and herbs.
East Granby Parks and Recreation announced a new community garden at East Granby Farms, 79 North Main St., where residents can apply for individual plots on a first-come, first-served basis. The department’s official town pages also list East Granby Farms and the Parks and Recreation office at that location, with the office mailing address at Town Hall and the same phone number included in the announcement.
According to the announcement, the garden is limited to East Granby residents. If all plots are assigned, applicants will be placed on a waiting list, and anyone who does not receive a plot will get a refund.
