Looking for an after-school year plan for your child? <a href="https://greenwichymca.org/childcare/after-school" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.</a>, the <a href="https://greenwichymca.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">YMCA of Greenwich</a> provides a safe and engaging environment for students in grades K-5.

Plus, getting your child to the <a href="https://greenwichymca.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">YMCA of Greenwich</a> is worry-free with safe, direct busing from Greenwich Public Schools.
Once here, your child will enjoy fun enrichment activities, receive homework help from our trained staff, and have plenty of opportunities to make new friends. With help from the Y, your child will thrive academically and socially!

Curious about the fastest-growing sport in America? If you’ve been wanting to try the sport but aren’t sure where to begin, our <a href="https://greenwichymca.org/programs/wellness/sports" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">weekly pickleball clinics</a> at the <a href="https://greenwichymca.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">YMCA of Greenwich</a> are the perfect place to start! You’ll learn the rules, practice the basics, and gain the confidence to jump into our weekly open games.

This program is free for <a href="https://greenwichymca.org/join" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">YMCA of Greenwich members</a>. Non-members of the YMCA of Greenwich, including those with home memberships at other national YMCAs, will be charged $20 per program session. <a href="https://operations.daxko.com/Online/5449/ProgramsV2/OfferingDetails.mvc?program_id=TMP28976&amp;offering_id=SES501485&amp;location_id=B790" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Registration is required</a>.
<h2>BEGINNER CLINICS</h2>
Beginner clinics cover the fundamentals of the game, including the rules, basic techniques, and general pickleball court skills that help build confidence. These sessions take place on the first two Tuesdays of each month. During months with five Tuesdays, beginner clinics are held on the first three Tuesdays.
<h2>INTERMEDIATE CLINICS</h2>
Intermediate clinics take place later in the month and build on the foundational techniques introduced in beginner clinics. Players continue to develop their skills while learning strategy and improving gameplay. These sessions are held on the last two Tuesdays of each month.

Enrollment is officially open for upcoming classes in Professor Cheng Man-ch'ing's classic 37-posture Yang-style Tai Chi form. Designed for all skill levels, this gentle yet powerful practice cultivates balance, relaxation, and internal energy through precise, mindful movement.
Classes are led by certified instructor Will Morrison, who has studied Tai Chi since 1981 under Ed Young, Professor Cheng's senior student and translator. Grounded in this direct lineage, the class will provide clear, authentic instruction tailored to both beginners and ongoing practitioners looking to deepen their practice.

The popular Sip &amp; Shop Greenwich event is back on Thursday, November 5, from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Innis Arden Golf Club, 120 Tomac Avenue, Old Greenwich, Connecticut. The community is invited to shop a curated marketplace of local and independent vendors, enjoy cocktails with friends (cash bar), and discover fabulous finds. This year’s event is bigger and better than ever with expanded hours and an extended list of vendors — both returning and new ones — who are all excited to offer a wonderful pre-holiday shopping event and support a good cause. Admission is free and open to the public (no denim, please). Plus, bring your unwanted gold and silver jewelry or flatware for on-site selling and turn your old treasures into $$$, then keep shopping!
