• Motorcyclist Killed In Griswold Crash; Police Seek Witnesses (patch.com) — A Griswold resident was killed Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Route 201, and state police are asking anyone who saw it or has video to come forward. Troopers say a northbound SUV crossed into the southbound lane and struck the victim’s motorcycle, fatally injuring him and sending the other driver to a Norwich hospital with minor injuries.

• Daniel Hand wins CIAC Division II boys golf championship; Griswold's Josiah Wells medalist (ctpost.com) — Griswold golf fans have reason to celebrate: Josiah Wells of Griswold shot a 1-over-par 71 to earn medalist honors at the CIAC Division II boys golf championship in Hartford. While Daniel Hand claimed the team title, Griswold tied for eighth overall in a tightly contested state field.
