Former Groton Man Charged In Voyeurism Case: Reports

A man is facing accusations that he made secret bathroom recordings, according to reports.

GROTON, CT — A former Groton man is facing voyeurism charges, according to The Day of New London.

Michael Sivils, 62, is accused of making a bathroom recording of a family friend who stayed at his Groton home in 2023. He was charged with voyeurism with malice.

He is being held on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Feb. 13.

Sivils now lives in Kentucky where he is also facing a misdemeanor voyeurism charge in that state, Hearst Connecticut Media reported. He faces similar accusations of filming victims in the bathroom of his home.
