Sacred Heart Academy Battles Hand-Madison In Girls Soccer: PHOTOS

HAMDEN, CT — The Sacred Heart Academy girls soccer team fell to 3-4 with losses to Mercy and Daniel Hand last week.

The Sharks had won two straight games before losing a 2-1 battle with Hand on Tuesday, Sept. 22, in Hamden.

Sacred Heart lost another hard-fought game, by a score of 4-3, to Mercy on Thursday, Sept. 24 in Hamden.

In previous games, the Sharks beat East Haven 4-1 on Sept. 17, and topped Avon 3-2 on Sept. 19.

Sacred Heart looks to get back into the win column with a road game against Guilford on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 6 p.m. at Guilford High School.
