BREAKING: 3 Buildings Evacuated As Fire Rips Through Hartford Neighborhood: Reports
One dog had to be rescued from one of the structures.
HARTFORD, CT — An early-morning blaze Thursday in Hartford has resulted in three apartment buildings in the city being evacuated, with firefighters also rescuing one dog.
According to WFSB Channel 3, the Hartford Fire Department at 3:09 a.m. rushed to multiple three-story multi-family homes on Bedford Street.
The area is in the city’s Clay Arsenal neighborhood.

WFSB, citing Hartford fire officials, reported the blaze started on a back porch and spread to the building's other floors and then to an adjacent building.
No injuries were reported, and one dog was evacuated from a nearby building, WFSB reported..

WVIT Channel 30 reported that firefighters were able to get the fire under control with an "aggressive interior and exterior attack."
