Dirt-Bike Riding Teen Critical After Collision With Car In Hartford: Police

The 18-year-old victim was found unconscious at the scene of the accident.

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police are investigating a serious crash involving a motor vehicle and a dirt bike that left an 18-year-old male critically injured.

Officers responded to the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Brown Street on Tuesday evening on a report of a collision, according to the Hartford Police Department

Upon arrival, they found the dirt bike operator unconscious at the scene, police said.

The teen was transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition, the HPD said.

The driver of the motor vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, according to police.
