Hartford Fire Displaces 9 Residents Of Multi-Family Home: HFD
Hartford crews quickly contained a 2nd-floor fire on Burlington Street Sunday night.
HARTFORD, CT — A Sunday night fire in Hartford’s Blue Hills neighborhood displaced nine residents but caused no reported injuries, according to the Hartford Fire Department.
Fire crews responded at about 9:06 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, to a reported blaze in a 2.5-story brick multi-family home on Burlington Street.
Officials said the fire was located on the second floor and was quickly knocked down and brought under control.

Firefighters conducted primary and secondary searches of the building and found no occupants inside.
No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported.

One family—seven adults and two children—was displaced by the fire.
The department said its Special Services Unit assisted at the scene, along with the American Red Cross, which is providing support to those affected.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Hartford Fire Marshal’s Office.
