Man Shot In Hartford Over The Weekend: Police

The victim is being described by police as a male in his 30s.

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police are investigating a non-fatal shooting reported Sunday morning in the city's South End.

Officers responded to the area of Franklin Avenue and Bond Street after receiving a report of a shooting, according to the Hartford Police Department.

While officers were investigating the scene, a local hospital notified police that a man in his 30s had arrived seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

Police said the victim's injury was not considered life-threatening.

The department's Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division responded and assumed responsibility for the investigation.
