Truck Crash That Caused Massive Trafic Jam In Hartford Cleared: UPDATE

WEST HARTFORD, CT — An overturned truck on Interstate 84 in Hartford early Monday morning caused major traffic headaches for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports that an overturned motor vehicle on I-84 east between exits 50 and 51 resulted in the closure of the left and center lanes of that highway.

The accident initially caused some issues on the other side of the highway, with traffic halted on I-84 West between exits 50 and 48 as well, resulting in the left lane there being closed.

The accident was first reported at 5:08 a.m., and, after resulting in lane closures for much of the morning, it is no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
