Popular Hartford Tourist Destination Closed After Water Main Rupture
It is not known when the beloved attraction will reopen.
HARTFORD, CT — One of the state's biggest tourist attractions was closed over the weekend after a burst water pipe caused quite a mess.
Officials at the Connecticut Science Center, located at 250 Columbus Blvd., Hartford, had to close the popular attraction Sunday, Feb. 1, following Saturday's water main break, which prompted an evacuation of the site.
The center cited a "burst water pipe."
