Teen Shot In Hartford Over Weekend: Police
Officers responded to the area of 214 Westland St. after receiving a ShotSpotter notification.
HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that left a 17-year-old male injured, police said on Saturday, June 27.
According to the Hartford Police Department, officers responded to the area of 214 Westland St. after receiving a ShotSpotter notification indicating possible gunfire.
When officers arrived, they located evidence of a shooting at the scene. While the investigation was underway, an area hospital notified police that a gunshot victim had walked in for treatment.

Police said the victim, a 17-year-old male, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was reported to be in stable condition.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division responded and have taken over the investigation.
