The 1785 Timothy Cheney House and 1751 Keeney Schoolhouse celebrate pumpkin season on Sunday, Sept. 18 from 12 noon to 2pm. Cornstalks, pumpkins and mums greet visitors and each room in the Homestead is decorated with floral arrangements that reflect the season.
The young and young at heart can decorate mini pumpkins and experience Early American games. A giant wooded pumpkin creates photo ops. Admission is free but donations in support of the Homestead are warmly welcome. For more info Find us on Facebook at Cheney Homestead Museum.
