UConn Women's Basketball Program To Face Duke In Three-Season Series
The UConn Huskies and the Duke Blue Devils have announced a three-season women's basketball series.
STORRS, CT — The University of Connecticut Friday announced a new women's basketball series against Duke.
The Huskies will play Duke in each of the next three seasons. They will first compete at TD Garden in Boston on Nov. 28 of next season.
The game marks the start of the three-season arrangement.

TD Garden President Glen Thornborough expressed enthusiasm for the event.
"We are thrilled to bring a marquee women's college basketball matchup between the UConn Huskies and Duke Blue Devils to TD Garden," he said, while adding, "Boston is a city that lives and breathes championship basketball, and hosting these two powerhouse programs gives fans the chance to experience the very best of the women’s game on one of basketball’s most iconic stages."

UConn season ticket holders and Husky Athletic Fund members will have an exclusive chance to purchase tickets for the TD Garden game, UConn Athletics officials said. "Information regarding this ticket offer will be provided to them in the near future."
Following the Boston game, UConn and Duke will begin a home-and-home series in 2027. The Huskies are scheduled to travel to Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, NC, during the 2027-28 season. Duke will then visit Connecticut in the 2028-29 season.
UConn sophomore Sarah Strong, a native of Durham, will be a senior when the Huskies play in her hometown. Strong’s mother, Allison Feaster, serves as the Boston Celtics Vice President of Team Operations and Organizational Growth.
UConn holds a 14-3 all-time record against Duke and the Huskies have won the last 11 meetings.
Their most recent game was on March 30, 2024, in the NCAA Tournament round of 16 in Portland, OR. Duke is currently ranked No. 12 in the most recent AP Poll and is No. 1 in the ACC standings. UConn is ranked tops in the nation.
