
MIDDLETOWN, CT — A pedestrian was hit by a car in Middletown Sunday night, fire officials said Monday.
The incident took place at about 11:30 p.m on the 900 block of Washington St., according to fire officials.
Serious injuries were reported.

Life Star helicopter was requested but was unavailable due to the weather, fire officials said.
One person was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries, fire officials said.

The operator of the vehicle remained on scene and is fully cooperating with investigators, police said.
