Car Fire Reported At Milford Home

Firefighters responded to the call Tuesday morning.

MILFORD, CT — A car fire was reported at a Milford home Tuesday morning, according to fire officials.

The fire was reported at 11:30 a.m. at a house on Sherbrooke Road.

Firefighters were able to respond quickly as they were at a standpipe training at the Connecticut Post Mall nearby.

The fire did not reach the home or a nearby garage.

Firefighters used a fire pump and stretched a preconnected hose line to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading.
